I’m David, and I’ve been living happily in beautiful Valencia for the past 8 years. After giving countless bike tours to visiting family and friends, I decided a few years ago to start my own business, and that’s how Valencia by Bike was born.
With Valencia by Bike, I get to share my passion for this amazing city with visitors from all over the world who want to explore Valencia in a fun and personal way.
Today, I no longer do this alone. I’ve built a fantastic team of local Dutch, Belgian, and English-speaking bike guides who, just like me, love showing you the best of Valencia — from famous highlights to hidden gems — all from the saddle of a bike.
Why Did I Choose Valencia?
For me, Valencia is a city that has it all. It has a beautiful historic centre with charming terraces. From the city centre, it’s just a short ride to the beach, especially if you go by bike, one of my favourite places to relax.
Valencia is a vibrant city, with something happening all the time. But it’s not too big or too hectic, which gives it a friendly, almost village-like feel in some areas. The people here are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home very quickly.
All of this, combined with plenty of sunshine and clear blue skies, makes Valencia the perfect place for me to live and enjoy life.
